Come and See.

You don’t need more to be used by God—you just need to surrender what you already have.

Stop waiting. Come and see. Your yes matters more than you think.

Master, where dwellest Thou?” — “Come and see.” (John 1)

If we truly want to know where Jesus dwells, we have to come and see.

Those three words Jesus spoke then still carry weight today—but now they raise a deeper question: Are we pursuing Him or just observing from a distance? People often look for something spectacular—an emotional moment, a visible sign, something immediate they can grasp. But Jesus calls us beyond that. He invites us to come and see not just with our eyes but with our hearts. A life with Him isn’t built on occasional encounters. It’s formed through our daily, intentional pursuit of Him. To come into His light means aligning our lives with what is true—not just what feels right. As John 3:21 reveals, when we walk in truth, our lives begin to reflect the work of God within us. Not performance. Not appearances, because real transformation is shaped by surrender and obedience.

And still, there’s a question many carry quietly: Does what I do for God even matter?

I’ve wrestled with that too—wondering if small acts of obedience make any real difference. If you’ve ever felt overlooked, unseen, or even hurt within the church, you’re not alone. Sometimes the deepest wounds come from within those walls. But the church is not the building—it's people. Imperfect people who hopefully are being shaped by a perfect God. So if you’ve been hurt, don’t anchor yourself to the failure of people. Anchor yourself to this truth: In the Kingdom of God, nothing is small. Every act of obedience matters.

God has never required visibility—only surrender. Throughout Scripture, He uses imperfect people again and again. That hasn’t changed, and for that, I’m truly grateful. What matters isn’t a title, a platform, or recognition. It’s His presence. You don’t have to preach a sermon or stand on a stage to impact someone’s life. You simply have to stay connected to Him. Because when you do, He takes what you offer—no matter how small it seems—and multiplies it. Just like He took a little boy’s small, ordinary lunch of five loaves and two fish and turned it into more than enough to feed thousands.

So the question isn’t whether what you have is enough. The question is, will you place it in His hands? What is surrendered to Him is never insignificant. You are part of the body of Christ, created with purpose. And faithfulness in what’s in front of you isn’t small—it’s the very pathway that could create greater impact. Never delay obedience, or overlook the moment in front of you. What are you waiting for when someone else may be waiting on you? You don’t need to linger in expectation of the perfect moment (it may never come). You may never feel more qualified, more confident, or more seen. Come and see—right where you are.

Bring what you have, along with your obedience. Bring the nudge you’ve been ignoring; take the step you’ve been hesitant to take because God isn’t asking for perfection. He’s asking for your yes. Life is never lived to capacity when you stand at a distance—it’s found in drawing near, staying close, and trusting Him with what you’ve placed in His hands. So today, choose to respond. Not tomorrow. Not when it’s easier. Today.

Come and see… and don’t come empty-handed. Bring your yes.
