Who Cleared That to Land?
Everything that enters our atmosphere does not deserve clearance to land—some things must be denied access in Jesus’ name.

As the Body of Christ, we should always be acting as air traffic controllers over the atmospheric realm, speaking into existence what lines up with the Word of God and rebuking every spirit that tries to establish dominance over the Spirit of God.
We should never be
submitting to or going with the flow of anything that is contrary to the authority of the Holy Spirit at work in our lives. Because though Satan may be very bold at pushing his agendas, oftentimes he moves in ways that are subtle enough that we miss the attack if we are not discerning.
I've learned that it is a good practice to daily ask the Lord for keen discernment in order to remain spiritually aware throughout the day. We must remember to daily suit up and arm ourselves so when the enemy comes in subtly, we recognize it right away and speak to the circumstances in Jesus' name. Not every thought deserves permission to land. Not every atmosphere should be accepted simply because we walked into it. And not every circumstance that presents itself has the authority to remain.
The Bible tells us to “Put on the whole armor of God, that [we] may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil…"—Ephesians 6:11
We have to become intentional about guarding our spiritual airspace. When fear tries to land, speak faith. When confusion attempts to settle in, speak peace. When discouragement circles our minds, we must remind ourselves of what God has already spoken. We don't have to give the enemy clearance to occupy spaces that belong to God.
So let’s stay alert, stay prayerful, and stay suited up. In order to continue winning spiritual battles, we must strive to know God’s Word so well that when something contrary enters our atmosphere, we recognize it immediately and command the atmosphere to line up, in Jesus' name.
We have authority through Jesus Christ, but we must use it.
Remember, we are fighting a winning battle, and "No weapon that is formed against [us] shall prosper…"—Isaiah 54:17
