Make Jesus Your Number-One Source

What will hold you together when everything around you begins to fall apart?

When Jesus is your source, life’s storms may shake you—but they cannot destroy your foundation.

Who do you run to when trials surround you? Where do you turn when life becomes so heavy that you wonder whether you have any faith left? Life is hard, and attempting to face it without Christ makes the weight harder to bear. When the bills are paid, our health is intact, and our relationships are peaceful, it is easy to feel secure. Yet circumstances cannot be our foundation. 

It only takes one phone call, one diagnosis, or one loss to remind us that we were never in control. That is why Jesus must be our number-one source and not our last resort. Paul wrote, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair” (2 Corinthians 4:8). When life changes and we must adjust to a reality we never expected, Christ remains unchanged. 

When everything around us shakes, a life built upon Him can remain standing.

God does not waste our suffering. Through every trial, He is developing endurance, deepening our faith, and shaping godly character within us. He is also faithful to provide the strength, grace, people, and resources we need each day.

Romans 8:28 assures us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. This does not mean every outcome will look exactly as we hoped. It means that even in disappointment, our story remains in His hands.

Make Jesus your first Source today. The storm may rage, but in Him, your foundation will remain solid, and somehow, everything will ultimately be alright.
