The Weight of Your Choices [When the Scales are Weighed]

The choices you make in secret are the very ones shaping your eternity.

What are you doing that you think is hidden under the cover of the night? What are you doing that you believe will never come to light? What places keep pulling you deeper into the pit of sin? When the Savior was lifted up from the earth, it was to draw you back to Him.

None of us truly knows what tomorrow holds. We do not know if we are days, weeks, or even moments away from a phone call that could change everything. Life is fragile, uncertain, and temporary. Yet in the middle of all of it, there is a Savior who is waiting for you to come wholeheartedly back to Him.

We are living in desperate times, and desperate times call for desperate measures. The desperate measure we must take is to call out to the one who has the power to save our lives. Because, with each day that passes, we are either coming closer to the end of our mortality or to the snatching away of the body of Christ.

If we continue making plans while ignoring the Creator of the universe, we risk hardening our hearts and standing unprepared before Him. Our deeds on this earth will be required of us one day. When the scales are weighed and balanced, that will determine where we spend eternity. 

But here is the good news: you have the power to choose heaven today. God is still calling. Grace is still available. So don't gamble with your soul, especially since the Bible in James 4:14 lets us know it is only a vapor.

Stop playing Russian roulette with your soul and act now while you still can. Jesus loves you.
